Kiev: US President Donald Trump wrote a letter to Turkish President Recep Erdogan, in which he urged him not to indulge.
On October 16, Trump told reporters that he wrote to the Turkish president a “very powerful warning letter” in connection with the invasion of Syria. Later, the American publication The New York Times published a letter about which the President of the United States most likely spoke.
“Make a good deal! You do not want to be responsible for the killing of thousands of people, and I do not want to be responsible for the destruction of the Turkish economy ... Do not let the world down”, - Trump writes to Erdogan.
He also noted that the commander of the Kurdish forces of democratic Syria, General Mazlum, is ready to negotiate with Erdogan and "ready to make concessions that they would never have made in the past".
“History will favor you if you do it right and humane. Don't be a tough guy. Do not be an idiot! I’ll call you later”, - the letter says.
