Kiev: Trump announced his intention to cancel visas on September 23 during a visit to Washington by Polish President Andrzej Duda.

US President Donald Trump said he officially allowed Poland to be included in the US visa exemption program. Trump said the last month that the United States will soon include Poland in its visa exemption program. This gives citizens of participating countries the right to enter the United States for business or tourism purposes up to 90 days without a visa. Earlier media reported that the United States could invite Poland to the visa exemption program on September 30.

The percentage of rejections in visa applications to the US Consulate in Poland for the first time in history fell to 2.8%. This is 0.2% less than the level required to comply with the visa-free program.
