Kyiv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has transferred all his shares in the companies to his associates and partners over the past several months.
All changes in the ownership structure were formalized in the spring of 2019, as reported by LIGA.net, citing data from the Unified State Register.
Zelensky's long-time partner Serhiy Shefir, who became the first presidential aide, obtained Zelensky's share in eight companies. Serhiy Shefir's elder brother, Borys Shefir, chief editor and author of Kvartal-95 Studio, got shares in another two companies.
To date, Zelensky has remained in a single legal entity, namely Youth Center Liha Smihu [League of laughter] NGO. As reported earlier, following the victory in the presidential election, Zelensky transferred his business to the management of business partners with a guarantee of return in five years.
