Kyiv: The National Aeronautics and Space Administration is developing a version of the flight to Uranus and Neptune at the next ten-year scientific conference.

"Our research raises the issue of a mission to at least one of these planets to study their nature, including with ice satellites, rings and magnetic fields," said one of the program's leaders Mark Hofshtedter. The European Space Agency will also participate in the development of the project.

The opportunity to put the mission in the priority will only be for the next scientific period - 2022-2032.

Earlier, Uranus and Neptune visited Voyager 2 in 1986 and 1989 respectively. At the same time, pictures of Uranus with its 27 satellites and Neptune - from the 13th were published. Also these two planets are called ice giants, although scientists claim that under their clouds is a huge ocean.

On Saturday, June 10, it was reported that NASA found interesting surface samples on Mars.
