Kyiv: Poland and the United States signed an agreement on the supply of 20 HIMARS multiple rocket launcher systems to the Polish Army, with a total value of $414 million. This is reported by the local media.
“The purchase of HIMARS is not only strengthening the defense potential of the Polish army, but also strengthening the security of our part of Europe, the eastern flank of NATO,” commented President of Poland Andrzej Duda on the signing of the treaty.
It is noted that the agreement will continue until 2023.
US military systems HIMARS United States began to deploy in 2005. One unit can carry six missiles.
We recall that a group of US senators on Wednesday, February 13, submitted a bill providing for the imposition of additional sanctions against the Russian Federation.
