Kyiv: Levan Izoria, head of the Georgian Ministry of Defense, will meet with NATO Deputy Secretary General Rose Gottemoeller at a meeting of the heads of the Defense Ministry of NATO member countries, which will be held in Brussels from February 13-14. This is reported by the media.
“The talks will discuss issues of cooperation between NATO and Georgia, the role of Georgia in strengthening stability in the Black Sea region, the country's defense transformation process and the NATO-GEO Exercise 2019 international exercises planned for March in Georgia, within the framework of which Stoltenberg will visit Georgia,” said in a statement.
After Brussels, the defense minister will go to Germany, where the Munich Conference is to be held.
We recall that Georgia and Ukraine have agreed to provide their citizens the opportunity to travel between the two countries without a passport, only using ID cards that contain contactless electronic media.
