Kyiv: The World Bank will provide Ukraine with its support for sustainability in the implementation of reforms.
This was announced by Cyril Muller, Vice-President of the World Bank for the Europe and Central Asia region, during a meeting with Prime Minister of Ukraine Groysman.
"I want to note your leadership in achieving many things. Last year, the Government had to introduce many reforms. When we talk about relations with Ukraine, we state a change in rhetoric. Ukraine is taking a sustainable approach to implementing reforms, and we continue to support you. We want to provide not only supporting financially but also contributing to the implementation of government programs," said Muller.
In turn, Groysman noted that the support of international partners for Ukraine is an additional incentive for making changes in all spheres of life.
“It is also indicative that the context of cooperation with the World Bank is reinforced by concrete joint projects - in the agrosphere, industry, corporate governance, infrastructure, education, and the general development of human capital in Ukraine,” said Groysman.
We recall that the Czech Republic wants to double the quota for employment of Ukrainians in the framework of the program, which has been operating since 2016.
