Kyiv: Following China, South Korea, India, and Turkey, Japan resumed imports of Iranian oil.
This was announced on Monday by the Governor of the Central Bank of Iran, Abdolnaser Hemmati.
“Following China, South Korea, India, and Turkey, Japan also began importing Iranian oil. Gradually, new revenues from the hydrocarbon trade will come to the country's economy,” he said.
We recall that the United States resumed sanctions against Tehran in November last year after President Donald Trump withdrew from the international nuclear deal with Iran of 2015 in May, according to which they were canceled.
