Kyiv: Representatives of the countries of Central Asia have agreed on further cooperation in creating a joint rail link. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

“In order to increase the transit and transport potential of the region, the idea of creating a consortium with the participation of all Central Asian countries with the aim of creating Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran railways, as well as Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Iran with the port of Chabahar (near India) was voiced,” reads the message.

It is known that on this railway it is planned to carry out the carriage of goods to the territory of the Iranian port, located on the coast of the Indian Ocean.

We recall that in the north-west of China will build another high-speed railway. The PRC State Committee for Development and Reform approved a construction project in Shaanxi province.
