Kyiv: Indonesians found a voice recorder in the cabin of Lion Air almost 2 months after the Boeing Co 737 MAX crashed in the waters of Jakarta and killed 189 people. This was announced by Marine Lieutenant Colonel Agung Nugroho.
“A weak signal from the recorder was detected, and within a few days, it was found. He was buried about 8 meters of mud in the waters about 30 meters deep. We do not know how much damage there is, but it has obvious scratches,” he assured.
It is known that the voice recorder in the cockpit is one of two so-called “black boxes” that are important for investigating the crash. Another black box, the flight data recorder, was restored three days after the accident.
We recall that the families of people who died in the Indonesian catastrophe Lion Air, announced their intentions to go to protest.
