Kyiv: As a result of a shootout between Mexican drug cartels near the border with the United States, 24 people were killed.
This is reported by the Western media.
"The death toll during the shootout of drug cartels in the northern border state of Tamaulipas increased to 24 after the bodies of three more men were found," Mexican authorities said.
As noted, the bodies of 21 dead were first counted, many of which were charred and found in the field near burned vehicles. But a government official in Tamaulipas, who did not give his name, said that further searches revealed three more bodies.
It is reported that the killings occurred on Wednesday in the city of Miguel Aleman.
We recall that five British servicemen died after falling under fire from militants of the Islamic State terrorist group.
