Kyiv: Russian Maria Butina, arrested in Washington, did not complain to Russian diplomats who visited her about the conditions in the American prison.
This was reported in the Russian Embassy in Washington.
“As part of the work to maintain constant contacts with Russian citizens who are under investigation or are serving sentences in US prisons, diplomats routinely visited Butina in a prison in Alexandria, Virginia. Maria did not voice complaints about the conditions of detention,” the diplomatic mission noted.
According to diplomats, the Russian woman is preparing for a court hearing scheduled for February 12.
