Kyiv: The Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to fully act on NATO standards in 2020.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during a visit to the Rivne region.
"In 2020, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be organized and able to act fully according to NATO standards in accordance with the law on national security," Poroshenko said.
He also added that the path of Ukraine to the European Union and NATO will help ensure the security of Ukrainian borders and sovereignty.
“Our path is towards peace, but not on the terms of the surrender offered by the Russian fifth column, but on the terms of Ukraine’s national interests,” Poroshenko said.
We recall that President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed a decree on sending national staff to participate in the multi-disciplinary integrated United Nations stabilization mission in Mali.
