Kyiv: A 5.7 magnitude earthquake struck the Iran-Iraq border. As a result of the incident, 75 people were injured.

The European Mediterranean Seismological Center reported that the shocks were recorded at 5:42 pm Kyiv time. The center of the earthquake lies at a depth of 40 kilometers. The epicenter was located 136 kilometers north-east of Baghdad and 87 kilometers south-west of the Iranian city of Ilam.
