Kyiv: Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk topped the Forbes rating. This is stated in the annual forecast of Future Boxing Moneymakers.
“According to the compilers of the rating, the absolute world champion in the first heavyweight of this year has significantly increased his fees, combined all the belts in his division and entered the ratings of the best boxers in the world, regardless of weight category. Usyk earned about $5 million for participating in the Super Series and about £ 4 million for the fight with Tony Belle. The future growth of his income, however, is associated with heavyweight, and if he can get a title in this category, his income may come close to the incomes of Joshua and Saul Alvarez,” the statement reads.
It is known that this rating significantly brings him closer to boxers of the international level to receive fees.
The second place, according to the report, was won by world middleweight champion from Mexico Jaime Munguia. Recently, a man signed a contract with DAZN, after which he is predicted a grand career.
