Brussels: EU Council on Foreign Affairs, will meet on December 10, Human Rights Day. The main issue for discussion will be the situation in the Kerch Strait. Interfax-Ukraine reports this, citing information from a European official, on condition of anonymity.
"Ukraine is among the main issues on the agenda. At a meeting of the EU Council, the European official noted, there will be a short exchange of views on Ukraine, especially in connection with the alarming situation in the Sea of Azov, and this will also allow returning to the situation in the country, which will provide an opportunity to prepare for an informal dinner on the same day with the Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin," said the media.
Also, representatives of countries will discuss the issue of financial assistance to Ukraine. The council will discuss possible assistance not only for the east but also for the south.
