Kyiv: Researchers at the University of Washington have developed an algorithm that “revives” people in photographs or characters on posters. This was reported at the University of Washington.
"The development of scientists forces characters to move, run out of the picture or jump. It works like with people in the photo, and with characters of cartoons and paintings, for example, Picasso. The shapes of the character in the photo are duplicated by a volumetric model, and create a "card" of the body. In it, separate parts of a body are allocated and given the reference points, and then, the character will be able to move. After this, the character is given certain movements in the animation, "the message reads.
It was noted that the corresponding function works also for virtual reality.
