Kyiv: Russia threatens Lithuania because of the imposition of sanctions in response to the Kremlin’s aggression in the Kerch Strait.
This was reported by the President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite during a visit to Kyiv.
“Sometimes it’s not so easy to be the first country in imposing sanctions. We receive personal threats from Russia, for example, my ministers received the foreign minister. But we know that this is an expected reaction,” Grybauskaite stated.
The President expressed her support for Ukraine in the fight against the aggressor and signed a number of bilateral documents on the development of strategic partnership.
Recall, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania proposed the imposition of sanctions against those responsible for the act of aggression in the Kerch Strait and the Black Sea.
