Kyiv: Donald Trump, the US president, said he was not yet ready to remove from the agenda the issue of pardoning the ex-head of his campaign headquarters, Paul Manafort. He stated this in an interview with the New York Post newspaper.
"The question of pardoning Manafort was never discussed, but I would not remove him from the discussion. For what reason is this?" - said the president of the United States. Trump also added that he owns the information that while prosecutor Robert Mueller was investigating, he demanded from Manafort, his former political adviser Roger Stone and his colleague Jerome Corsi to give false testimony, threatening that if this is true, he would send Prosecutor to jail.
As previously reported, the court found Manfort guilty on eight counts of a financial nature. Mueller is investigating Russia's interference in the 2016 US election.
