Kyiv: Banks of the Odessa region, in particular, the city of Izmail, suspended the issuance of cash sent on international payments. This was reported by an unofficial source of Front News International.
“Banks have blocked customer accounts and refuse to issue money. The reasons for this are not yet known,” said the source.
However, according to Olena Korobkova, Executive Director of the Association of Banks of Ukraine, there are no problems or interruptions in the payment of money, and all such statements are a provocation.
As an economic expert Olexiy Plotnikov told an FNI journalist, the introduction of martial law in the country does not affect possible delays in the payment of money in the regions, and such things are defects or failures in banks against the background of the political situation in the country.
