Kyiv: According to sources on the market, the runaway Ukrainian oligarch Sergei Kurchenko started exporting anthracite coal, mined in the uncontrolled territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, to Turkey, Front News International reports.
"Number of companies on behalf of Kurchenko are engaged in operations with anthracite coal, which is mined in the occupied territory of Donetsk and Lugansk regions. Most often - LLC Petroleum Capital, registered in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia", - said in the materials of the journalistic investigation published by Economic Pravda.
It was reported that the first deliveries began in April, but they acquired a systemic character in May-June: now 5-6 ships are unloaded in Turkey each month, each of which carries up to 20,000 tons of coal.
Coal from the occupied territory of Donetsk and Lugansk regions is exported to the Russian Federation through Kvashino-Uspenskaya rail passage, then it is sent to the Russian junction station Kiziterinka-export, from which the commodities are delivered for shipment to the port of Rostov-On-Don.
Economic Pravda also published a number of supporting documents.
Since the middle of April, one of the companies, which the Russian media associates with Kurchenko, ZAO VneshtorgServis, which is registered in the "unrecognized republic" of South Ossetia, began to supply coal from the occupied territories of Donbass to Russia.
