Kyiv: Austrian Ambassador Johannes Aigner was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry. This is reported in one of the Russian diplomatic agencies.
It is known that a similar call was previously reported to the trustee for Russian affairs in Austria. There is information that such “invitations” concern the detention of one of the Austrian military commanders suspected of spying for the benefit of Moscow.
It is noted that the former colonel of the Austrian armed forces was detained on suspicion of having carried out reconnaissance for Moscow for 20 years, for which he received 300,000 euros. Therefore, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria Karin Kneissl canceled the planned trip to Moscow.
