Kyiv: During his visit to Ukraine, on November 9, European Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy Johannes Hahn will meet with the President of Ukraine, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin and Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine Artem Sytnik. This was reported by the press service of the EU office in Ukraine.
“The main purpose of the visit of the European Commissioner is to discuss the progress of reforms and the implementation of the Association Agreement. During the meeting with Volodymyr Groysman, a new regular report on the implementation of the Association Agreement will be reviewed. The document contains an analysis and assessment of the progress achieved by Ukraine in the framework of the Association Agreement last year, ”the report states.
In addition, Hahn will meet with Ukrainian representatives of civil society and discuss with them the latest attacks on activists.
It was added that in order to support independent state-owned media, the Commissioner will meet with representatives of the public broadcaster - the management and the supervisory board.
