Leaders of India and Japan once again confirmed friendly relations between the countries

  • Leaders of India and Japan once again confirmed friendly relations between the countries

Kyiv: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe met in a resort area near Mount Fuji to discuss important issues.

This is reported by the local media.

It is known that today the main problem for both countries is relations with China. But cooperation between India and Japan in the future can serve to weaken the regional influence of China and its military power.

About this in one of his interviews on the eve said Narendra Modi himself.

“The partnership between India and Japan has become transformed and strengthened as a “special strategic and global partnership”. There are no negatives in these relations, only real possibilities to change something,” the Prime Minister said.

According to the politician, after coming to power 4 years ago, he immediately knew that he would choose Japan for such cooperation. But today it is important for him that the countries of the Indo-Pacific region unite against protectionism and territorial tension.

On the other hand, the reason for this meeting is also the discussion of an important joint military exercise, in which the ground forces of both countries will take part. Training will start next month.

We recall that earlier, Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe made an official visit to China. This visit was the first since the beginning of the conflict, which erupted in 2011.
