Moscow: The Russian Orthodox Church declared its readiness to resume the dialogue with the Patriarchate of Constantinople, but only when Patriarch Bartholomew "realizes the consequences of his actions towards Ukraine and takes the path of dialogue." This was reported by the press secretary of Patriarch Kirill, the priest Alexander Volkov, TASS reports.
“The path that Constantinople has taken can be very difficult for the whole Orthodox world and for believers in Ukraine. But a difficult situation can be quickly resolved if Constantinople takes the path of dialogue, ”he stated.
Recall that the Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church decided to completely sever relations with the Patriarchate of Constantinople.
