Kyiv: Former Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Tymoshenko accused Petro Poroshenko of raising gas prices for the population by 23.5 percent. The Kyiv Post wrote.
“This means that gas prices for the new heating season will be 23.5 percent higher. This is a real shock for most people in the country. We cannot allow Poroshenko to behave so cruelly with the Ukrainians, ”Tymoshenko stated.
Former Prime Minister called on Parliament Speaker Andrei Paruby to organize an urgent meeting of parliament to discuss the issue of gas tariffs, as well as local members of the parliament to ask Poroshenko to cancel the increase in gas prices.
Yulia Tymoshenko also promised that if she comes into power, gas and heating tariffs will be reduced by at least half of their current level.
