Kyiv: After the publication of Front News International on the poisoning of cadet officers at the Military Institute of the Tara Shevchenko Kyiv National University, the Department of Military Education and Science of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine confirmed that some cadets asked for help at the infirmary and were hospitalized. We are talking about 6 cadets, not 30, as a reliable source previously reported to a FNI journalist.
“The Director of the Department of Military Education and Science of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is familiar with this situation. 6 cadets appealed for help to the infirmary, and one has already been discharged, ”the Department’s press service reported.
The ministry also added that there is a sanitary-epidemiological station in place, measures will be taken, and checks will take place with no failure.
Front News International also contacted representatives of the university, but they could not confirm this information there.
Earlier it was reported that about 30 cadet officers of the Military Institute of the Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University were poisoned in the dining room of the educational institution.
