Kyiv: In the state of Washington at a meeting of the Supreme Court, it was considered that the death penalty in the form of the death penalty would be unconstitutional.

“The death penalty has no legal force since it is used arbitrarily and under the influence of a racial factor,” the official document says.

Therefore, the eight prisoners in Washington prisons who were sentenced to death will now be serving life sentences.

It is noted that last year such a measure of punishment was applied to 23 people. This year already 18 people were executed.
