Kyiv: In the capital of Azerbaijan there was an eruption of the Otman Bozdag volcano, which is considered the second largest of its kind.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan.
"At 8:53 am erosion occurred on the mud volcano Otman-Bozdag, which is part of the state natural reserve. The second eruption was recorded at 9:59. The height of the flame was 200-300 meters. In certain areas, there are cracks up to 40 meters deep," the report said.
The Otman-Bozdag Volcano is located in the Garadagh district of Baku. The Ministry notes that this area is not inhabited, so there are no casualties.
We recall that in Hawaii, as a result of the eruption of the volcano Kilauea on a tourist vessel 23 people were injured. The vessel was sent for inspection to the volcano, which at that time began its active action.
