ADDIS ABABA (FNI)  - In Ethiopia, as a result of the crash of a military helicopter, at least 18 people were killed, including two children.

This was announced on Thursday, August 30, referring to information from state company Fana Broadcasting Corporate.

As police officer Ashaul Alem noted, the accident occurred on Thursday morning in the Oromia area.

"The helicopter was heading from the eastern city of Dire Dawa to an airbase in Bischof, which is in the southeast of the capital of Addis Ababa. As a result of the accident, 15 servicemen and three civilians were killed, "the report said.

The accident causes are being clarified. Investigation continues.

On Tuesday, August 28, an air force plane crashed in Greece, one pilot died.
