KYIV (FNI) - During a telephone conversation between Lyudmila Denisova and the RF Human Rights Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova, no results were achieved and no compromises were found.

This was reported by the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova.

"Tatyana Moskalkova said that there are legal nuances - Russia considers Oleg Sentsov to be a citizen of the Russian Federation, so the exchange of a Russian citizen for a Russian citizen is impossible. To my comment that there is documentary evidence from the Russian side that Oleg, a citizen of Ukraine, began to say "old song" ... all Crimeans who have not renounced Russian citizenship automatically acquire Russian citizenship," Denisova said.

Denisova also stressed that the situation requires a rapid response. During the conversation, the Ukrainian ombudsman noted that Sentsov needs to be transferred to a Moscow institute, or to a hospital in which there are experts on endogenous nutrition.
The state of health of the illegally imprisoned Ukrainian director Oleg Sentsov is getting worse. Relatives and lawyers sound alarm.
As reported on Wednesday, August 8, Sentzova's sister Natalya Kaplan in her Facebook, the situation is complicated by the fact that if  they will not transfer him to a civil hospital, which insists the European Court of Human Rights, Sentsov simply will not survive.
