RIO DE JANEIRO (FNI) - The "Workers Party" of Brazil nominated its candidate for the presidential elections, which will be held in the country in October 2018. They nominated the ex-president of Brazil, Lula da Silva, who is now serving a 12-year sentence on corruption charges.

Representatives of the "Workers' Party" reported this decision on the official page of the organization on Twitter.
