KYIV (FNI) - President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko dismissed Pavlo Zhebrivsky from the post of chairman of the Donetsk regional state administration, which he occupied for three years.
The corresponding decree of the President of Ukraine is registered under the number 164/2018 and is dated June 13.
"To dismiss Pavlo Ivanovich Zhebrivsky from the post of chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration in accordance with the application he submitted," the document says.
In addition, before his dismissal, Poroshenko awarded Zhebrivsky with the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise of the 5th degree for "a significant personal contribution to the state building, longstanding conscientious service to the Ukrainian people."
On Wednesday, June 13, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine accepted the resignation of the head of Donetsk regional military-civil administration Pavlo Zhebrivsky.
On Monday, June 11, Pavlo Zhebrivsky announced that he had decided to resign. This position Zhebrovsky took three years. To release him from his post, Zhebrivsky personally asked the president of Ukraine Petro Porshenko at a meeting on June 9.
On the same day, the media reported that the new head of the Donetsk regional state administration will be Deputy Minister for Issues of Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine Yuri Grymchak.
