MUNICH (FNI) – Mohammad Javad Zarif, Minister of Iran’s Foreign Affairs, believes that there is no crisis between his country and Saudi Arabia, with Saudis being open to dialogue.
Saudi Arabia and Iran are eternal rivals for leadership in the Middle East, never fighting against each other, though. The Sunni’s Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Shia’s Islamic Republic of Iran have a conflict due to the international support of the region. The proxy has a devastating effect on the region.
"We believe there is no crisis between Iran and Saudi Arabia, provided that Saudi Arabia is interested in engaging in serious dialogue, " Zarif said at the Munich Security Conference.
Earlier, Zarif said that anti-government actions in Iran and other cities might be devastating for everyone on the planet.
