Grozny: Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of the Chechen Republic, said that he feels himself to be a great man for the fact that the US imposed sanctions against him.
"The list of Magnitsky. Hence the rights violate rights. Poor Americans, one small but proud Chechen Republic does not give the whole state of rest. They imposed sanctions on me, I feel like a great person, so many awards from America," Kadyrov said.
The Ministry of Finance of the United States on December 20 introduced five Russians, including the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov in the list of people who are sanctioned if they are involved in human rights violations.
In July, “Novaya Gazeta” published information that 27 detainees were executed in Chechnya.
