Lima: The Congress of Peru took up the draft resolution on the removal of President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski from office.

So, for impeachment Kuchinsky 93 deputies from 111 present (it was necessary minimum of 52 voices) have voted. Against there were 17 deputies, reports El Comercio.

The decisive vote should be held on December 21.

To remove the president from office, his impeachment must be supported by 87 out of 130 deputies. In this case, the duties of the head of state after impeachment will be performed by First Vice President Martin Alberto Viscarra Cornejo.

In the Parliament of Peru on Friday, September 15, expressed a vote of no confidence in the cabinet and Prime Minister Fernando Savale. For this 77 deputies voted, 22 against, 16 abstained.

In connection with such voting results, it obliged the Prime Minister and his cabinet to resign. Before the vote, a debate took place, which lasted about seven hours. In the beginning, Congressman Lourdes Alquarta said that there is no state policy on the part of the executive.
