Cairo: In the north of the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt, 40 km from the provincial capital, terrorists attacked the mosque during the Friday pilgrimage, resulting in 75 people injured and more than 50 dead.
"The terrorists attacked the Al-Arish al-Rawd Mosque, 40 kilometers west of El-Arish, having blown up and opened fire on pilgrims during the Friday prayers. The Ministry of Health announced that 75 people were injured, the number of deaths has not yet been confirmed, "the local newspaper Egypt Daily News reported.
According to local media, the death toll from the attack is 54 people. It is noted that 15 ambulances are being evacuated on the site of the wounded.
