Brussels: European Council President Donald Tusk on Friday, November 17, in Swedish Gothenburg will meet with British Prime Minister Theresa May during which the parties should discuss the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union - Brexit.

The representative of the EU in Brexit talks, Michel Barnier, said on November 11 that the EU expects that before December the UK will provide its explanations regarding the payment of compensation, otherwise it will be impossible to go to the second phase of negotiations.
The European Parliament said on September 28 that there are no progress on some issues in the process of Britain's withdrawal from the European Union.
Head of the European Council Donald Tusk said on October 10 that he expects progress in negotiations on the UK's withdrawal from the European Union until December.
