Kyiv: Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said at a meeting of the National Reform Council that a new model of privatization of state-owned companies in Ukraine would definitely help attract foreign investors, Front News International reported.
"It is very important to pass a law on privatization in the first reading. I think that there will also be no delay with the second reading. There will be a new and transparent model of privatization, which should attract 100% of foreign investors. It is also very important that we keep the budgetary discipline and yesterday voted for changes in the budget of 2017," Poroshenko said.
On Thursday, November 9, the Verkhovna Rada adopted as a basis the bill "On the privatization of state property."
