Baku: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with the ambassadors of the Eastern Partnership countries.

After the meeting with the ambassadors, Aliyev received in his residence a delegation led by Afghan Finance Minister Eklil Ahmad Hakimi.

On Friday, October 30, the deputies of the Committee on Political Affairs, Human Rights and Democracy of the Eastern Partnership countries adopted the draft report "On ensuring freedom and objectivity of the media in the EU countries and Eastern European partners."

"I think that we have a very constructive and balanced report turned out. We took into account all the amendments. All the countries that worked on this report stressed the importance of freedom of the media. It is very important to fight for the conditions in which the media work in different countries, and this is one of the important moments of this report, as for the media legislation, those who own these media, as for the digitalization," said Tanja Fajon, co-rapporteur.
