The fire that caused the explosions occurred at the plant in the city of Tangerang, which is near the capital of the country - Jakarta. During the localization of the fire in the factory premises, firefighters found the bodies of 47 dead workers. In all, the plant employs 103 people.
Nico Afinta, director of one of the police units in Jakarta, reported on 43 injured people who were injured and sent to three city hospitals. Also earlier the police reported about 27 dead workers of the fireworks factory.
According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire could be a short circuit.
