Moscow: Simonovsky Court of Moscow sentenced Russian oppositionist Alexei Navalny to 20 days of arrest. The reason was the violation of the order of holding mass events in Nizhny Novgorod.
"The court of Navalny considers the court proven" - how many times I heard this phrase," Navalny wrote on his Twitter page.
He also called his verdict "a gift of the old man Putin for his jubilee."
Let's note, on Friday, September 29, in Moscow, once again police officers detained oppositionist Alexei Navalny right in the entrance of the house. Navalny left the house to go to a rally in Nizhny Novgorod.
In May Navalny was detained for the same day for the same 25 days.
A little earlier, the Simonovsky District Court of Moscow extended the trial period of Russian oppositionist Alexei Navalny to 78 years before 2095. According to him, this was done so that during this time he could not run for president.
