Tallinn: Co-chairman of the European Council for Foreign Affairs Carl Bildt expressed the hope that the leaders of the European Union will discuss the issue of creating a digital market by the end of 2018.
"I hope that today in Tallinn European leaders have carefully read the message of Andrus Ansip. They must combine digital efforts, "Bildt said.
Today, on September 28, Vice President of the European Commission on the digital market Andrus Ansip insisted on his blog that European leaders decided to create a single digital market by the end of 2018. This will allow annually supplementing the EU budget with 415 billion euros on the development of digital technologies.
Note that the summit will also be attended by the Prime Minister of Ireland Leo Varadkar.
