Tokyo: Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said that he plans to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and South Korean President Mun Jae-in in the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum.
"Now I'm going to Vladivostok, Russia. I plan to hold talks with President Putin and President Mun Jae-in. Can the dangerous and outrageous actions of North Korea that threaten world peace be stopped? Now, as never before, the definition of the international community is being tested for strength, "he said.
Today, September 6, in the margins of the Eastern Economic Forum, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with South Korean President Mun Jae-in. During the meeting, they discussed ways to solve the Korean crisis, as well as opportunities to improve Russian-Korean relations. During the press conference, Putin said that the world should show composure, and not drive the DPRK into a corner. He also noted that he does not exclude the development of joint economic projects with the DPRK and South Korea, in particular, the supply of Russian pipe gas to Korea, the integration of power grids and railway systems of Russia into the Republic of Korea and North Korea.
