Kyiv: Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov denied accusations against Ukraine about the supply of missile engines to North Korea.
"Ukraine did not supply missile engines and any missile technology to North Korea. We believe that this anti-Ukrainian campaign was provoked by Russian special services to cover their participation in North Korean nuclear and missile programs, "Turchinov said.
He also stressed that Ukraine considers the North Korean regime "totalitarian, dangerous and unpredictable."
One of the experts of the International Institute for Strategic Studies Michael Elleman published his own study of the significant success of North Korea in the missile program. According to him, such growth in the manufacture and testing of North Korean missiles was due to the acquisition of modified Soviet rocket engines on the black markets of Russia and / or Ukraine.
