The commission of the Ministry of Culture will return to the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra on Monday, after unsuccessful attempts two days in a row. Radio Liberty reports this with reference to documents received from sources.

Also, the members of the commission were pushed away from the premises by "unknown persons in monastic robes", - says the messages

 

 As stated, "today they again appealed to the police with a request to open a criminal case due to the lack of access to the buildings."

 

 According to the police, there were no clashes in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, where the commission of the Ministry of Culture tried to enter for the second day in a row, according to the police.

 

 The Commission of the Ministry of Culture was not allowed to enter the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra on March 30. Due to obstruction of the work of the commission of the Ministry of Culture in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, a report was submitted to the police.

 

 On March 10, the MKIP announced that "UPC (MP) is obliged to leave Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra by March 29." As reported by the ministry, the contract for the use of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra will be terminated on March 29, 2023. This applies to all premises rented by the UOC (MP) in Lavra.

 

 The head of the Information and Educational Department of the UOC, Metropolitan Kliment, told reporters that "no document" obliging them to leave the monastery "does not exist." Regarding the Lavra, the UOC (MP) filed a lawsuit.
