The West should abandon the principle of phased military aid.

This was stated in an interview by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, Urmas Reinsalu, Censor.NET reports.

"I really hope that after the results of last year, we understood that we should not be reactive, but proactive in this sense. As far as the F-16 is concerned, pilots are pilots, and we are not talking about any spaceships. And aircraft pilots you have, they will be trained in a short period of time. And what is very important is that these F-16s can also be an air defense platform because their speed can also be used to launch missiles against the Russian S-300s." - said the minister.

According to Reinsalu, the West should abandon the principle of phased military aid.

"One thing is the material efficiency of spending, but there is also the efficiency of spending for the sake of humanity, because it will simply continue the war. To continue this approach of supporting Ukraine in stages would mean huge human sacrifices of the Ukrainian people, because Putin's strategy may really be to invest from his side , continuing the war," he added.
