The Prime Minister of Israel declared his readiness to become a mediator between Ukraine and the Russian Federation

Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu said that he is ready to act as a mediator in the negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, if he is offered again by both countries and the United States.

He said this in an interview with CNN.

The head of the government noted that at the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was unofficially asked to become a mediator. However, then he refused, as he was the leader of the opposition, not the prime minister.

At the same time, Netanyahu emphasized that he is now ready to consider the role of a mediator, but for this there must be "the right time and the right circumstances."

"If asked by all relevant parties, I will of course consider it, but I will not insist," Netanyahu said.

We will remind, recently the adviser to the head of the President's Office, Mykhailo Podoliak, said that the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, could become a mediator between Ukraine and Russia.
