Germany took the initiative to hold a meeting of the heads of foreign affairs of the G7: on the agenda is support for the energy system of Ukraine

As the chair of the Group of Seven, Germany initiated the meeting of the G7 foreign ministers. Options for supporting the Ukrainian energy system, which is constantly damaged as a result of Russian missile attacks, will be considered.

Such a statement was made on Twitter by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Annalena Burbok.

The head of the Foreign Ministry assessed Russian attacks on civil infrastructure as inhumane crimes that cannot be tolerated.

"Putin likes to plunge Ukrainians into cold and darkness with the help of missiles. But he will never quench your thirst for freedom and our support. Next week in Bucharest, as the presiding country of the G7, we will invite to a meeting of partners at the level of heads of foreign affairs to initiate further support for the supply of electricity to Ukraine," Berbok wrote.
