The UN Security Council rejected the Russian Federation's resolution on the search for "biological weapons" in Ukraine

The UN Security Council did not accept Russia's resolution to create a commission to investigate the "military-biological activities" of Ukraine and the United States.

 This is reported by WP.

Only the Russian Federation and China voted for the resolution. The United States, Great Britain and France spoke against it, and ten other Security Council countries abstained.

Last week, Russia circulated a 310-page document to the Security Council alleging that "biological activity" was taking place in Ukraine with the support of the US Department of Defense.

The UN stated that there is no evidence of the presence of "biological weapons" in Ukraine, despite Russia's accusations.

Back in March, the UN Security Council accused Russia of lying about the development of "biological weapons" in Ukraine. Then, too, Russia initiated a meeting of the UN Security Council to discuss the alleged "biological military activity" of the United States in Ukraine.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, in turn informed his colleagues that Ukraine is open to monitoring missions.
